This role is available on a full or part-time basis (between 22 and 37 hour per week).

This is an exciting opportunity to join GIPSIL’s Community Health and Prevention service, as a Wellbeing Worker within the Wellbeing team. You will support vulnerable young people of Primary and high‑school‑age, through 1:1 and issue based groupwork programmes across South Leeds.

As a Wellbeing Worker you will be required to complete admin tasks, including case notes, case studies and data collection, contributing to wider reporting requirements for commisioners.

During the School holidays Wellbeing Workers will also support the delivery of Healthy Holidays, ensuring young people have access to positive activities and hot nutritious food. 

Experience of supporting and an understanding of the needs of people from BME communities would be highly desirable.
